Tomas Roges
No-gi Instructor

I’ve been grappling for about 7 years now. . My interests go well beyond jiu-jitsu but to all forms of combat sport having participated in various forms throughout the years including Wrestling, C.A.T.C.H, Sambo, Judo and various striking arts.

I’ve been teaching since I was a blue belt, starting within the kids jiu-jitsu program then moving into the adult program and private lessons at purple belt. I specialize in a conceptual and principle based approach to learning. I’ve taught my style of grappling to a wide range of people from the age of 5 through 64. I believe the combat arts can be made to be enjoyed by anyone regardless of age and physical limitations.

I started BJJ in 2021 and it's taken over my life since then--it continues to be one of my absolute favorite things to do. I've been doing martial arts since 2008, and in my opinion BJJ is the best martial art for building both your physical and inner power.

I've been teaching martial arts since 2014 and my background is in facilitation and coaching. It's my passion and my expertise to make learning as accessible as possible for you.

Come to my classes to learn BJJ by connecting skills, concepts, and techniques together to create your own BJJ game!

Any space I'm in is a space for you. See you on the mats!

Yani nikole
Co-owner/yoga/kids coach

Yani found her passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2019. Prior to that, she had been practicing ballet for several years, which gave her a solid foundation in body awareness and movement. Yani quickly fell in love with the intricacies of jiujitsu and enjoys the challenge of learning new techniques and improving her skills on the mat.

In addition to her jiujitsu training, Yani also has a keen interest in mobility and flexibility. She recognizes the importance of being limber and agile in jiujitsu and understands that a regular yoga practice can help to achieve that. As a result, Yani leads the Yoga for BJJ program, helping her fellow athletes to improve their mobility and prevent injuries.

Yani is committed to her training and is always seeking new ways to improve her performance on the mat. She is a dedicated athlete who is passionate about jiujitsu and the many benefits it brings to both body and mind.

Dylan Doza
Instructor

I started training in 2019 and I’m currently a 3rd degree blue belt. Jiu jitsu is great because it helps you off the mat just as much as it does on. Training on the mats will give you the confidence to protect yourself and loved ones but will also serve as a great workout. Jiu jitsu is also a good tool to help you build mental toughness and patience.

“Jiu-Jitsu for sure will save your ass, one way or another. Not necessarily a physical fight but also being able to deal with yourself, know about yourself, and really improve yourself as a whole.”
